Father of Indian Constitution recalled at B.V.M. Udham Singh Nagar « 14/Apr/2017

BVM Udham Singh Nagar commemorated the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on 14^th April.The day was observed as awareness spreading day and information sharing day. Mrs Navita Seth (Vice Principal) sensitized everyone by highlighting his major contribution & principles and also acquainted the students with anecdotes  from his life. Class teachers shared various anecdotes from the life of savant and inspired the students to set high targets from themselves. . Paying  tribute to the progenitor of our constitution, various activities were held on the theme :The life of Dr. Ambedkar which included colouring competition for class I and II, Drawing Competition from class III to V and Portrait Making from class VI to VIII. These were followed by another competition  inspirational quotes writing for primary and middle wing. A documentary based on his struggle as a Jurist, Economist, Politician and a social reformer was shown to the children in the school auditorium. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi enlightened the students to follow Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s footprints and strive to uphold the spirit of our constitution.She also highlighted the contribution of this great scholar in making India the largest democracy of the world.

From Class IV
Priyanshi(IV B), Piyush (IV B) , Varun(IV C) clinched 1^st ,2^nd ,3^rd  Positions respectively
From Class V
Abhinav (V C), Gitika (V A) , Anmol Singh(V A) Won 1^st ,2^nd ,3^rd  Positions respectively
In Inter class  Portrait making competition (Middle wing)
Munish (VIII B), Komal (VIII B) and Lovish (VII B) grabbed 1^st ,2^nd ,3^rd  Positions respectively
